“We think that the hotel is very nice but there is not a lot to do in this part of town. Room was great and had the best hot shower in Trang .
As we stay for a month or two it is priced out by cheaper hotels in better positions.”

The rooms are dated as are the bathrooms.
I even had 4 cockroaches in the bathroom.
I did not stay for my 2nd night.
Despite the large grand front reception - the hotel is IMO only a 2* at best.”

About 400M from the train station, this "hostel" is definitely more like a homestay than anything else. Run by a lovely family, the property is well maintained and super clean and surprisingly well beyond what you would get for this price normally.
I stayed in Room 7 which is best as it had a private bathroom/shower.
I would not only recommend this place, I'll stay here next time I'm in Trang.”
“When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con.”
“Wow! Such a lovely place. I really enjoyed Trang while staying here. The hotel is like typical Thai good budget hotel. I strongly recommend this place for really great location and friendly staff! I could go many places by walking. And about staffs, they are really willing to do everything they can do to solve problems without hesitancy. ”
