“Very poor service! Disappointed. Though they have renovated the rooms, it looks good but the service is very poor. Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. In one room AC was not working and we complained almost 5 times and nothing done! Even the restaurant once famous for good food now I regret going there. Food is oily and can sense its re-used oil.”

“A nice hotel with a big pool even though the pool area isn’t welcoming at all (nowhere to sit, no towels etc). I’ve seen some comments on stuff in previous reviews, I’d say that they were friendly in Indian standard. Good area close to the bus station. WiFi not working. ”

“It is a room in an unkempt old house, with no security at night. No breakfast included. Expedia showed three rooms, 2 AC rooms and one non AC. We booked AC room making full payment online. At the time of check out the caretaker asked us to pay extra money for the room, saying it is a special room. We felt it is too much for that kind of facility.”

“Ripples Resort made our Kerala vacation. The food, service, and accommodations were all excellent. We stayed for five nights. We had a bungalow near the canal. It was spacious, with a big living room, a bedroom, a small dressing area (I think), and an outdoor shower. It felt peaceful and private. We did yoga on the last three days. No toilet rolls - had to wait for 1 hr 10 min and 4 phone calls to get it. dirty bedsheets and towels. no breakfast even after waiting for an hour. had to leave the hotel with other guests to some place outside to get breakfast. and no refund for the same. there are many better options in that area. this one is just a disgrace to india tourism.”

“What a wonderful place, very beautiful and relaxing. Accommodation absolutely top notch, staff even better. Having stayed in several highly rated 5 star hotels during our month long tour of India we felt this to be the best. If you're looking for the backwater experience in true comfort and style then this gives you that. We hired a day boat which picked us up from the bottom of the garden. We spent the evenings watching the boats go by and the chinese fishing nets being used. Realy all one……

“A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!”

“We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small. The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze. There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views.
