“Davidson Cottage was charming and cosy and very well situated for a walk into the Penola township or a drive to the wineries.Our hosts had thought of everything we may need and we made good use of the open fire, whilst our little dog loved the sun filled fenced yard and getting to know the Alpaca next door. This was a great base to explore the Coonawarra and we have stocked up our cellar for winter. We certainly hope to return.”

“As a family of 2 parents, three tall young adults and a girlfriend we comfortably settled into the WH for 3 nights. We found everything we needed, shared 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet and were very comfortable and warm this winter in the three generous bedrooms, comfortable roomy lounge and well appointed kitchen and dining area. “This was an extremely disappointing property. It was rundown, outdated, (unnecessary clutter everywhere), unclean and in poor condition, inside and out. The cleanliness of the kitchen, with musty cupboards, dirty dishcloths, unclean cutlery and filthy fridge and BBQ was a disgrace. The precarious shower over the bath was an extreme safety issue and should be addressed with at least one safety rail.
