“I came to have a relaxed and quiet time and that's what I have. The property was clean and super neat. Communication with Leona was super easy. Also, you have other great places only about 20 minutes away (Jim Thorpe, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Appalachian Trail). I,definitely, would stay again at this place!”

“One of my favorite places to visit because of the pool and the enormous house that is far enough from town to give privacy but also close enough that it’s not a huge drive to Walmart (maybe fifteen minutes). The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We had everything we need. Second stay and can’t wait to stay again. ”

“I rented the Dery House for out-of-town friends to stay prior to a wedding. First of all, the house is breathtaking to see from the outside and it only gets better once inside. We spent much of the weekend inside and we were never in the same room twice! Each different room feels like a completely different space and all are classicly gorgeous. The room were clean, spacious and had an antique charm that you just can't beat. If you really want to impress your guests for any sort of event……

“This was our second time staying there and it was a great stay, again! The hosts, Gregory and Ron were very accommodating and just a text or call away. The property is tucked back off the main road and is very quiet. Comfortable cozy beds, gas fireplace, games, DVDs, wifi, games in the basement, such as foosball, corn hole, a table for checkers and chess. Plenty of hot water. Just an all around great place to stay!! We will definitely be back ”

“Check in process was smooth and we were able to arrive a day early which was very convenient. Initially I was concerned after we arrived as the home is directly across from a fire station and the alarm went off which was deafening. Fortunately I only heard it go off twice for the 5 days we were there so it was not an issue. The house was well equipped overall with exception of utensils. There was 1 spoon and maybe 2 or 3 forks. We had to buy utensils for our stay. Not a big deal just annoying.……

“So many safety issues. Broken concrete, tripping hazards, doors not secured to exterior, gas smell in back room, living room A/C with hole in wall to plug outside (yes, really). One roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels and one garbage bag in kitchen for the weekend. Styrofoam plates and cups. Microwave didn't work. Trash in front yard, dirty blanket with piece of metal stuck in it, mold on wall by tub. I have photos of everything. Owner hardly communicative. Front door key left in……
