“This property is situated right next to Wailua State Park and across from Wailua Beach and minutes from Lydgate Beach Park. Immaculate and well- maintained. It was noisier than I expected due to traffic and bridge construction but very cute garden where you can sit outside”

“Nice condo with everything you need. We stayed for three nights after extending our stay on Kauai. The views of the ocean are spectacular. There is the highway very close to this condo but the noise is minimal.The bed was very comfortable and opening the balcony door allows for a nice breeze through the condo.Walkable to the town of Kaapa and the Coconut Grove shopping center. The airport is a short drive also.”

“We can really recommend the Nene Nest. “The property is a decent size, but looks larger in the photos. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals. The foldout sofa downstairs has a note that due to rust it cannot be used, but there are still three bedrooms and a total of one king, two queens and two twin beds throughout the house. The pillows and mattresses are VERY firm. The shower in the master is smaller than I expected. The carpet needs to be replaced. There was food trash under the bed in the master. The sliding door……

“We just had the best time in Poipu, Kauai. If you are looking for a great, comfortable and functional place to stay, get to all the amazing natural sites (and Kauai has many), go to beautiful beaches, swim, snorkel, eat delicious food out or stay home and cook, have coffee with the turtles in the bay right in front of the lanai, every morning for sunrise, and watch the whales spout, (I even saw one breach one morning), and walk around the building for gorgeous sunsets, this is perfect place! ……

“The outrigger hotel is located in an ideal location to many outdoor activities and airport. The hotel is well kept, clean, nice pools for families, and walking distance to the beach. The room was a bit outdated, drawers stuck, back door was difficult to lo lock and shutters stiff and noisy. Note to renter- bring all toiletries, coffee/filters, and there is only cleaning service if you pay for it. You also have to remove all trash regularly. No microwave available. We didn’t spend much time……

“Outdoor dining area is great. The beach is not crowded at all. The house is spacious and offers a lot of privacy for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils and pot/pans you need. But you will have to buy everything to cook with including oil, sugar, flour, and any baking stuff (baking soda etc). ”
