We really looked forward to our stay here. The price was decent and had a second bedroom for our kiddo. Being oceanfront was awesome even though the weather wasn’t good and there was ample parking. The location was an easy walk to food and a shopping area. The property itself is old and it shows. The condition of the property is meh at best. Our room was on the 3rd floor which I would not have booked had we known that was the case for the 2 bedroom rooms. The room itself wasn’t very clean and really just not up to par with the photos or price. It was a studio room with 1 bedroom, not 2 actual bedrooms. The curtains and sheets were not clean (will share in photos) and the window a/c was very loud. A 3 star rating might be too much honestly but the location was worth it.
Surface stains on the sheets, I couldn’t bear to take a photo of the bottom sheet it was so disgusting.
Mold on the curtains.
Didn’t even hang a curtain set in the bedroom? They had 1 panel up that didn’t cover the window and let a lot of light in all night.

The staff were all super friendly. Rooms are a little smaller than I am use to but was oceanfront so I was happy; no living room for 2br. Floor was still a little sandy; should be mopped better. Other than that, it was a great one night stay. I may be back in the future.

The location is good right on the beach.we had a first floor unit and clearly heard the people above us. It was loud.so not sound proof at all. Grounds had cigarette butts around and unkept areas. The lady at the desk was very friendly. Pet friendly right on the beach is the best part.

I wouldn’t stay here again. From the moment we walked in, there was a funky smell that never really went away. The patio overlooking the beach had so much potential, but it was filthy - and.so was the bathtub. The beds were old and lumpy, and to make matters worse, a family a few doors down, reportedly had bed bugs in their room. I booked it thinking the lower price was just a bonus since we didn’t need anything fancy - just a clean place to sleep. The reviews seemed decent, so I figured it would be fine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The whole place felt unclean and "sticky." Definitely not worth the savings this time. I will say though, that the staff were friendly and so kind. We arrived to the island early and they had a room available to get us in- no extra charge. So we were able to drop our bags, get our bathing suites on and walk to the beach. They doted over our dog and son and suggested great places to eat. They were very welcoming and also the reason for my 2 stars...

Can’t beat the location of this place. It’s your standard motel, the staff was accommodating and very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing that could be better is the room could use some touch up paint here and there. Honestly though, I had a wonderful stay there. I would go again.
