We purchased this property in November 2021 since we wanted a place at the beach for our family to relax. We wanted to create a place at the beach that was one of a kind, so what better way than adding in a home gym. Now we want to share our one of a kind experience with others. With that being said here are some things to consider when booking our property:
This property does have a private home gym in a separate building in the backyard. Although it is not attached directly to the house it is a short 20 ft walk away and we actually feel this is better because you can play your fitness music while working out without disturbing the people hanging out inside the main house. This private home gym has what you need to get a quality workout.
Gym Equipment Includes:
o Pelotons (2) – With active memberships (or login with your own) so you can enjoy their full range of classes
o Dumbbells (5-50 lbs) – Rubber hex dumbbells that can be used for various exercises
o Adjustable Bench – this bench inclines and declines and also has a foot hold
o Foam Rollers (2)
o Ab Roller Wheel (1)
o Resistance Bands (10-50 lbs)
o Jump Ropes (2)
o Large Mirrors
o Flat Screen TV – equipped with a Roku to stream any of your video subscription services to watch workout videos or your favorite shows
- We want your stay to be as perfect as possible, so we don’t want to set any false expectations. The kitchen doesn’t have a dishwasher given the size of the property. There also is not a typical kitchen oven. There is a convection oven that can be used to baking small dishes as well as microwaving items. Don’t worry there is a stove top and we have plenty of kitchenware but we also have a grill at the property to give you an extra place to cook your favorite meals. It is also equipped with a blender, toaster, drip coffee maker and the typical cooking essentials as well as dishes and silverware.
- The property is located in Kure Beach which is the sister beach to Carolina Beach. We enjoy Kure Beach since it is a bit more lowkey and not as busy as Carolina Beach. This gives us the ability to relax and enjoy the area without the commotion of some of the other beaches. There are some shops and restaurants right near by but if you are looking for the more typical touristy type of beach no need to worry as Carolina Beach is just a 5-minute drive away.
- The house is designed for 2 but can sleep 3 if someone doesn’t mind sleeping on a couch. The dining room table has seating for 4 and there is also an outdoor table that has seating for 4, so there is plenty of options and space for when you want to enjoy a meal.
- We have tried to make this home as comfortable as possible for your stay and have implemented amenities to help with that. The main house and gym are both temperature controlled, but they are controlled separately so that you can adjust them individually to your liking. Both the gym and the main house have flat screen TVs equipped with Rokus so that you can login to your favorite streaming services. The TV in the house also gets the local channels so that you can watch your daily programs or sports, depending on the time of year.

We do allow pets at the property. There is a one time non-refundable pet-fee of $100 and we allow up to a max of 2 dogs.
