“Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot……

“Our stay at Urraca Private Island is the most awesome, memorable lodging experience we’ve had (and that’s saying a lot, because we travel frequently and have had many fantastic experiences). The place is amazing, kind of a cross between Swiss Family Robinson, Robinson Crusoe, and a high end Africa-style resort with adventure amenities like kayaks. And monkeys! “One of the most extraordinary places we visited during our stay in Panama. If the noisy, smelly and crowded Bocas Town is not for you (as well), then definitely check out the Al Natural Residence and/or resort. Away from anything else, in the middle of nature, beaches and gorgeous sealife! The residence was just perfect, with stunning views over the ocean and the jungle. Highly recommended!”

“The house is gorgeous, the hosts were wonderful, the location was stunning...THE HOSTS:Sunanda and Vincent are the best hosts. Sunanda was always quick to respond to questions, met us at the airport & took us to the dock. Left our bags there while we shopped at 2 close by markets. Went back on day 5 of 10. Vincent was always available during our stay.THE HOUSE:Pictures don't do it justice. The house is stunning. Downstairs is a nice kitchen w/ a bar & 4 stools, dining table fits 10 and a nice……

“We had the absolute best time staying at this beach cabana. The bed was super cozy, the outdoor kitchen was awesome (make sure to bring all the food/beverages you need), the beach has the most beautiful clear water and loads of star fish and other fish and we were the ONLY people there and had the entire beach to ourselves, the locals were kind when passing and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating and had quick response to questions. We did a water taxi out there and had a pick up……

“We had a great time staying here with our two kids ages 4 and 6. The house is right on a beautiful beach with calm, shallow waters for swimming. We also took out the kayaks several times to paddle around and went on boat excursions to the Zapatillas Islands and a chocolate farm, as well as a tour into the village and surrounding jungle with local guide Calypso, which was a highlight!The house itself is spacious and well-appointed with incredible views from the deck.This is a more remote area of……
