“We enjoyed our stay at the Villa de Soledad. It’s located in a beautiful setting and right near the trailheads of the Pico Bonito National Park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful! ”

“I did not have hot water. they did not provide the morning breakfast they advertised.I had no internet in my room. I stayed 2 nights and no one came to change the bedding or the towels and give bathroom amenities.”

“I booked for 2 nights. My spouse and I stayed here last year, and it was acceptable, but this time was different. I was greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom sink. I wanted to shower, but there were no towels in the bathroom. I found towels on the bed, but they smelled like they had been used. I had to ask for clean towels. Then, the power went out, and it was dark and hot, since the A/C was not working. A neighbor right outside the window ran a very noisy gas powered generator until the power……

“I arrived on a Thursday, Thanksgiving Day and the beach, although an over cast day, the beach was just wonderful. La Ceiba is not exactly a clean city and beaches are certainly dirty and the sand is the color is pukey brown/grey yet, the view of the Caribbean Sea erased those minor imperfections. The staff of HPB is nice and willing to please. They are not aggressive but genuinely want to assist. Lots of please/thank yous. Coming from Tegus where everyone is sort of rude, this was a nice……
