The owner greeted us personally and was warm and kind, and the checking out was very smooth. As others have said, it’s not for the elderly or for young children because the stairs to the bedrooms are effectively a ladder. It’s an old building, so inevitably quite a few dusty corners and the oven is small as is the……

“Beautiful property in a tranquil area. Not far to travel to restaurants and days out , but need a car. Grounds amazing and spent hours peacefully walkings with the dog . The pool was a big hit with the kids and the gite had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Holiday was amazing.”

It is well-situated for most of the major attractions of the Loire Valley. The grounds offer swimming, cycling, boating, walking, and a wide variety of games. The hostess, Anne Paillard, is very responsive, helpful & charming. It could not have been better. ”
