“This home is built to drink in the view. The water comes up right to the edge of the property. You can walk the beach when the tide is out. The queen bed was very comfortable and that is always highly valued. We were disappointed that the couch was not very comfy, bottom cushions keep slipping forward on you. It would be nice to have an ottoman so you could sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the view. It’s important to note the stove/oven combo is not full size, which is fine if you are not……

“We had the best stay at this cute cabin in Mount Vernon. Hosts thought of everything to make our stay pleasurable. Appreciated that the cabin was decorated for the holidays and everything was extremely clean. We’ll be back! ”

“We loved staying in this beautiful and cozy cabin. I love that it’s within walking distance to Spencer Spit and close to town. It had lots of beds so was great for the kids. Kids also loved the great selection of DVDs and cozy living area.”

“Everything was as described, nice little cabin with a wonderful view. Especially appreciated the detailed instruction packet and the fragrance free accommodations. ”

“The main bed is in the loft and the steep angle of the roof makes getting into bed an adventure as we are over 70. Cabin was ok but a few cobwebs and some dog hair on loft floor.”

“We came for a long weekend, and we had a great time! We did think the beach was easy to walk down to like the pictures imply but between the snow and ice and steep edge it was not, also the lighting in the house makes cooking a bit tough, we had to move a lamp on top of the fridge, if there were new day light bulbs in the kitchen that would have helped, all the bulbs were miss-matched and dim…All in all a great stay! Loved the town and cabins views! ”
