Waterfront, hot tub, wildlife, quiet, sunsets.

Three-plus bedrooms, three-bath beach house. Secluded cove, extra lot for family outdoor games. Hot tub with a view to the water, islands and mountains. Tastefully decorated with local artwork. Elegant and simple. Two queen-size beds with down comforters, (also non-allergenic available) one queen-size futon, one single bed. Dining table seats six. Bar seats four. BBQ supplies provided. Kid and pet friendly.

Vacant lot next door offers further privacy as well as extra parking. There is a vacant house on it surrounded by a yellow "do not enter" sign. We are not responsible should someone enter and harm themselves.

ABSOLUTE QUIET IN HOT TUB AFTER 9:00 p.m. Noise is amplified by the water.

(NOTE ON RATES: We charge $325 a night for two people and charge an extra $30 per night per person for additional people. Please indicate number of guests when filling out booking or you will get a different rate.)

PETS: MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Maximum one pet - must be under 35 lbs and nonshedding. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding and are $30 per night.

La Conner offers shopping, Tulip Festival in April, Art's Alive in the fall, The Farm Festival, fine restaurants and antique shopping. Nearby Anacortes offers hiking trails and kayak rentals.

We are kid and pet friendly but we are not childproof nor pet proof. Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Hot tub is not fenced. We are not responsible for accidents on the property, use at your own risk.

The adjoining lot (for your use) has an access-way to the beach that is public. Occasionally, rarely, it is used by the public.

Tippingrock is located across Skagit Bay from the Whidby Island Naval Air Station. The navy/air force practice formations during the week. Sometimes they are over La Conner, other times they are further south or north and we don't hear them. They do not fly Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Some folks enjoy the formations, other don't like the noise. We want you to be informed as we never know when, or if, they will be flying (except NOT on weekends.)

Fun Visit

We had a great time here. Incredible views and quiet neighborhood. It had just about everything we needed. We were a little nervous about some of the minor damages and stains on carpets there because we didn't want the owner to think we did those things. And a few things needed repairs. Otherwise, nice stay. Appreciated the AC and the heat options! The sound of the waves was hard to beat!

What a treat!

Loved this stay. Better than advertised. We so enjoyed the fireplace, watching the tides, sunsets in the hot tub, and the wildlife. There’s a rabbit or two, a racoon and so many birds…even an eagle. Nearby La Conner has great restaurants. Hope to return!

A peaceful, pretty place

Quiet, scenic and serene. Hot tub is very nice, as are the many birds you will see and hear in the vicinity. Just don't try to walk out past the rocky beach at low tide: that is heavy mud, not sand!

Beautiful waterfront get-away

This is a peaceful and beautiful location, with very comfortable and thoughtful amenities and conscientious hosts! Very convenient in proximity to easily visit the San Juan Islands and the Skagit Valley. We look forward to returning in the future.

Very peaceful with stunning views

We had such a lovely time here - the photos do not do the deck, beach, hot tub, and views justice - they are incredibly peaceful and stunning. The home was beautifully designed with original and local art, and was very clean & well stocked. Host was very helpful and immediately responsive to any inquiry we had. This was a very restful and peaceful retreat for 3 friends who enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and sitting on the deck overlooking the water. Thank you - will book again!

Great spot to spend a few nights. This home was right on the bay and you could walk out to the little islands in the morning and then the water would be right up to the home in the evening. Very nice getaway; mostly private

Lovely spot to catch up with friends! Very clean and well-appointed and everyone was delighted with the deck and hot tub. Comfortable beds; plenty of towels and blankets, etc. We didn't use the TV or entertainment system, so I can't speak to that-- the views and sunsets were entertainment enough. The upstairs futon hide-away was cozy and odd-- its skylights looked down into the main floor bedroom which gave us all a laugh. The only thing worth mentioning is that there was a fair amount of foot traffic next to the house down to the beach-- folks with kayaks and dog and kids and whatnot. Everyone was vey nice, and it is mentioned in the property description that there may be people going by occasionally. However, be aware that at least on this sunny weekend it was frequent and it makes the deck and hot tub feel much less private, as the path is adjacent to both.

So much to enjoy about this property- sounds of the water lapping the shore, cries of birds, beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well-equipped, bed was comfortable and although there were neighbors, we never heard them.

cozy and so much fun!

for my sisters and mom this was a fantastic retreat, we loved the view (even with the tide OUT), the kitchen is wonderful, the upstairs bath has to be seen to be believed (even though we didn't try it out), and the artwork, eclectic, beautiful, and in every corner of the house makes an impression. I would have liked a few hand rails for my mom (95!) but she managed the multi levels with no mishaps. We were so comfortable we even skipped shopping in Laconner, one trip to Martha's beach for a photo of my mom on the birthday, can you guess? Her name is Martha! This is a dandy spot and one we will return to in the future.

Writing Retreat

Our Zoom writer's group met in person for a writing retreat. The house had an artsy, secluded feeling that was ten minutes from La Conner's restaurants, shops, and museum. The waterfront view was amazing. We saw seals, herons, and deer. There is a main floor bedroom and bath but stairs to the other bedrooms, a step down to the living area, and down to the beach along with a few stairs to access the property. The beds were comfy. The host graciously provided a K cup coffee maker and coffee pods along with other amenities like spices and soap. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
