“We loved our stay at the Elk Hideaway for so many reasons! It was super easy to find and the instructions on how to get into the house made it simple after a long day of driving and getting there long after dark. The cabin is just a few miles outside of the Ashford Entrance to Mount Rainier so we didn't have to stress about getting up early to make it to the park before it got crowded and everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was provided for us. “This was one of the best places I have stayed. Everything from the comfort level, to the hot tub, to the little touches really stood out. The tiny house is small, but the space is used so incredibly efficiently. The beds are so comfy! The bathroom is a great size, as is the kitchen for cooking. “The cabin had everything we needed and more including all kitchen items and lots of games/puzzles for fun family time. The fire pit was the highlight for us and we spent several hours each evening enjoying a fire and smores. Easy access to the national park and a short drive back to cabin after a long day hiking and exploring, the cabin has a great location and amenities. “We booked this and then at 4:40pm the day of our reservation the VRBO sent us an email saying that it was canceled. It was lucky that I didn't see the email and went anyway and met the owner who had openings. It ended up being cheaper than listed and the problem is this is a new owner who didn't set up the listing. He has tried many times to shut down this listing but VRBO won't let him. You can book this on the other well known site and it will get you an actual reservation. The owner and place……

“This little home was an absolute delight! There's not really any phone service, so I would highly recommend writing down your door code before you get there. Once inside, there's wifi that will allow you to connect with the outside world. The kitchen had everything we needed.
