“Used the property to move our son into Quincy University and the location was perfect. The house was well thought out and had everything you need. We actually walked to a neighborhood bar and the location to the school was very convenient. Laura was very responsive and we look forward to using the property again in the future!”

“Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. ”

“This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. “Once a year my BF and I get our families together somewhere between our cities and chill for a long weekend. We are usually looking for something of a Big Chill house (movie reference). In that, we scored with Penny's home in Quincy. Her home is truly beautiful and was designed for entertaining. The entire property can be seen from two sitting areas plus an screen room facing the woods and Quincy Bay. The kitchen was massive and had everything we needed. “Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances.……
