“The house is very cute and extremely clean and decorated very tastefully. The host left a package of danishes from the local bakery, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. This however is not a home for someone who has mobility issues. The issues we had were as follows1) bathtub - HIGH step in to the pedestal tub could be a challenge for some - our friend literally fell out of the tub. Luckily she had piled all of her personal items on the toliet so……

“The inside of the property was wonderful. Perfect for what we needed. Great dining room table for games. Two comfortable couches for chatting on. Beds a little too soft for my husband. OK for me. “Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances.……
