“Herwann is a very nice host, the location and the layout of the house are great. Unfortunately, a few things are getting on in years and need a refurbishment. and the cleanliness was also a bit lacking, we found stains on the bedding and blankets. Also the lanai was basically unusable as it was completely filthy. This was a great pity, as the location and layout of the accommodation are perfect. and: there were obviously mothballs in the bedrooms and wardrobes which gave off a really unpleasant……

“This is a nice apartment in a block of apartments that share a small pool. Other residents were friendly and the apartment is in walking distance of a couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Colombres is in a beautiful location with an interesting history and access to the mountains and beaches of Asturias. Communication with the owner was easy through the Vrbo app. We had to specify an arrival time so we could be let in. Unfortunately the flat had not been properly cleaned. The floors……

“Nos alojamos en La Estela, una preciosa casita, tal como aparece en las fotos, bonita, bien cuidada, con mucho gusto y tiene todo lo que necesitas . Recomendable al 100% Sin duda repetiremos tanto por la zona ya que nos ha quedado mucho por ver como por el alojamiento.”

“Overall we though the place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures are generally very accurate however the one of the front of the house implies a bit more space than there actually is. Space for one 4x4 (or car). In the Vrbo ad we can't see any suggestion of when the communal pool is open (late June?) so not available in May. There is only a 2or3 seat sofa for a house that sleeps six (as shown in the pictures). The biggest issue for us was the lack of kitchen utensils……

“Gérant immobilier absolument charmant mais logement extrêmement mal insonorisé ce qui devient très gênant lorsque celui-ci est partagé avec d’autres familles ( table commune, entrée commune, bruit tard le soir et tôt de matin du aux arrivées et départs et prises de repas des autres vacanciers. Dans notre hébergement , équipement plutôt limité pour cuisiner vraiment, pas de réelle belle vue vers l’extérieur ( sur les toits des autres maisons pas les velux) pas de vraies chaises devant une vraie……
