“This was an amazing stay... the views are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were clean and very cozy and the staff was very nice.
The host was able to give amazing recommendations for our tours. Assisting us in going to oslob and moalboal. Her recommendations were amazing and we missed the hecticness of the crowds. It was almoat like paying for a private tour.
They have a few restaurants near by with great food. We did rent car in city so we had transport but even for days we didnt use transport.……

“Wir bezeichnen das Blue Orchid als ein "Wohlfühlhotel". Dabei schätzen wir besonders die familiäre Atmosphäre und die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Schnorchelausflüge konnten unkompliziert gebucht werden, wobei Schnorcheln auch vom Strand aus möglich ist. Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und inmitten von viel Grün serviert. “We had an amazing time at this hotel. The hotel has an amazing house reef which is excellent for diving & snorkeling. It is probably better than a lot of the islands you can visit nearby. The staff at the hotel are all very helpful. The diving centre was very professional and the massage service was very good. “Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave.
The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless……
