“We loved our stay at The Red Earth Palace. It is a really cool house sited in a beautiful and somewhat remote area near Taos. It is along the Rio Grande where you can hike down to the hot springs. We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend. The house itself is lovely and very clean. The kitchen is very well setup with all the tools you could possibly ask for. The host, Katherin, is wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a lovely stay in your beautiful home.”

“Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed in. Starting with the reservation process and the communication with Doug. He was very detailed with instructions and recommendations to maximize our visit. The place was very easy to find once you look for the majestic King Kong gates. The space is well fenced, and the tiny home is the cherry on top of it all. Clean and plenty of tools to cook, etc. all amenities work as listed. The hot tub is amazing!!! Overall the place is great. They do warn about a sensitive well system which is great but sensitive does mean sensitive we got a short shower and a small load of dishes and we were out of water for a bit. “This was a second stay! Great place near lots of outdoor activities in the Taos area. We really enjoyed the nearby hiking and biking trails. Easy drive to Taos Ski Valley, the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and the Enchanted Circle. House is as advertised and is perfect for folks travels with dogs. Small backyard is fenced and house is a good distance from the neighbors. An added bonus is the 360 degree views of sunrises, sunsets and the mountains! . ”

“This perfectly appointed cassita is a nice distance from town, and although it is situated right below a road, it is quiet and pleasant. The house is immaculate with nice southwest accents and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a long stay. A nice little patio has a chiminea for warming up cool nights and a new hot tub. Our only complaint was that the TV is in the bedroom so lying in bed together was the only option to enjoy it —but they are fixing that. Very comfortable……

“First time we were in the hot tub was at night so did not notice until the next morning that there is a webcam pointed directly at the hot tub. That is the only web camera on the exterior of the property so it felt creepy. It would’ve been less so if it was disclosed beforehand. I like to give the benefit of the doubt that the owners simply have concerns about people damaging or misusing the tub. But not disclosing makes it unethical in my opinion.
