“The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed. ”

“The beds definitely need replacing, theywith sharing sink and you get stuck in a whole. I was under the impression that the deck was directly off the unit, i was wrong. Its a shared deck with the middle floor unit. I didn't realize we were going to be in the third floor unit. I was not comfortable ”

“Getting to the property is a bit of a challenge, narrow drive up a steep gravel incline. The cabin was awesome, very clean and well furnished. The only thing I would complain about and it's nothing the host can do about it is the loud constant highway noise from the highway below while trying to relax on the front porch”

“We had a lovely time on the Tuckasegee River, enjoyed watching the Canadian geese, mallard ducks, also watching the Tuckasegee River Excursion Train go by across the river. Our stay was outstanding, our host went the extra mile by delivering us a bouquet of flowers. They truly made our day extra special. We plan to return again. ”

“The cabin was immaculate and cozy. It was nice to sit on the porch with our coffee and listen to the rain on the roof. It rained the entire time we were there, but it was so peaceful we didn't care. Our only complaint — and it's a small one — the lighting isn't great. We couldn't read in bed because there are no bedside lamps. Other than that, we loved it there and would go back.”

“My parnter and I needed a weekend trip to relax and recharge. This place was perfect! Its just the two of us and the space was perfect. The cabin is cute, clean and you can hear the creek anytime you are outside or if you open the windows! Also very close to town so there were plenty of options for us to choose from for daytime activities Very nice, we will back! back!”

“Location was great. As a 2-star, very acceptable. It was very obviously out of season. Carpenter bees were everywhere outside, impossible to sit on the patio. Climate control difficult and noisy. Breakfast was poor, but the place down the street was excellent! ”
