“With big plans to participate in Birkie weekend We were happy to find this place last minute after our original reservation fell through because of septic issues. We lucked out and found a comfortable, welcoming and beautiful place. Mary responded immediately and helped us when we ran into a couple issues. We highly recommend this place.”

“We were 7 business colleagues/friends, so having 7 bedrooms was essential. The group meeting space exceeded our expectations. The open plan was full of light and with a lake view for our large group discussions and meals. The layout of the shared spaces easily allowed of smaller groups to do different activities at the same time, e.g., cooking, games, conversation. The modern feel and amenities were spot on for our needs.”

The only issue we came across was the slightly confusing access road...perhaps additional signage would help clarify direction toward the property a bit better. Otherwise, no complaints! “Everything about this property was perfect. We were looking for a place that fits our big family and our dog. And this was it. Room for everyone to have their space and then come together to play. The game room downstairs and large dinning room fit our needs and then some. Everything was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook ourselves. Definitely check out “Max’s on the Lake” when you don’t want to cook. Loved my burger. We are excited about coming back next……

“This was our third visit. We have gotten pretty good at dealing with the heating issues. Cold (41 degrees when we arrived) in the lower level and hot on the top 2 floors. This time we had a new challenge. We had to limit our water usage due to the septic system being frozen. I appreciated the extra effort the owner made to have the holding tank pumped rather than cancel our reservation, but it was stressful not knowing if each toilet flush might be the one that maxed out our 1000-gallon……
