Cheerful Southside 3-bedroom Residence

Welcome to our cheerful south side residence! It is about 5 miles from Purdue and 4 miles from downtown.

You will find yourself surrounded by gourmet restaurants as well as the convenience of fast food and pizza. If you wish to cook or bake, the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, microwave, blender, family sized slow cooker, rice cooker, hand held mixer, electrical kettle, two-slice toaster as well as pans and pots, a full set of prep bowels, measuring cups and spoons, baking sheets and pans. It is also stocked with salt and pepper, cooking oil, even flour and sugar! Well, you do need to bring your own eggs. : P

Oh, did I mention the coffee and tea station? It is fully stocked with regular and decaf coffee, green and some nice herbal tea for a treat!

The bathroom has full sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We also provide laundry detergent if you need to do your own laundry. And of course, there is a hair dryer.
Now on to the entertainment: Smart TV lets you access your stream apps and screen mirroring, never miss your favorite sports or shows. Xfinity high speed wifi and 125+ Chanel TV make work and entertain a breeze.
If you have some work to do, there are two designated work areas with smart lamps.

The space
You are able to access the entire house, the attached one-car garage and the yard. The premise is located on a corner lot, there is plenty of space to stretch. It is very conveniently located. Distance to various places:

House near Purdue

House was fine and easy to get into, close to the university. Carpet smells like pets in one bedroom. Shower is tricky to run, could use a plumbing upgrade. Neighbor played music late and loud. But overall it was fine, although kind of expensive for the condition.

Very nice stay for the price

We stayed during Spring Parents' Week for a long weekend. The location is good - only 10 minutes or so away from Purdue. We had no issues with check-in or with our stay, and the host communicated well and left us a nice note. The house is a little older though and it does show in things like carpet and especially with an issue with the shower that we were warned about but that still caused confusion and worry since it didn't seem to work exactly as explained in the extensive note (and we were warned that doing it wrong could break the fixture - probably time to just replace it.) Queen beds are perfectly comfy, but the twin bunks are all springs - not great for adults, but probably perfectly fine for kids. The place was very clean and well-stocked and great for the price - just a few details that make it not quite a five-star stay.

Great place to stay

We had a lovely stay in Yi’s house. Our family of 5 fit comfortably. The house was clean and well stocked with dishes, towel, soap including laundry soap. Yi was very easy to reach and quick to respond. A great place to stay while we were in town to visit family!

Exactly as described

Yi was a great host who was very responsive, friendly and flexible. The property was extremely clean and the kitchen and bathroom had all the essentials we could have needed. The bunk beds have full size mattresses which was a nice surprise. I was concerned about hung onl one bathroom but everyone was conscientious and limited their time. As there were two entrances to the bathroom, we made a house rule that both doors be left open when not in use which worked out well for us. This is our fourth year visiting Purdue campus. Staying in Lafayette is further from campus but the regulations for property owners are less restrictive. In general, we have found our stays have been more relaxed than in West Lafayette. We would definitely stay again.

Stay was so good. We were exhausted and this property is spacious and peaceful. Kitchen is really good. We didn’t cook a lot but sure could have! Really clean house. Beds comfortable. We felt safe to walk around.

Quaint home, amazing host, perfect location

Enjoyed my stay with my son and grandkids. House was easy to find, was located in a quiet neighborhood and a short 10 min drive to Purdue. The house itself was spacious and thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table and watching the NCAA tournament games from the comfortable living room. Felt like home

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood that was convenient to Purdue. It is also close to a variety of shopping and dining locations. Check in and checkout was smooth and the instructions that Li sent were clear and concise. The house was clean and cozy. Since we were traveling near the holiday it was nice to have the lighted tree in the living room - nice touch.
