When I arrived, I had to call to get someone to check me in. The hostess had had to go clean my room before I checked in. She did an excellent job!
The hair dryer was missing, so the sweet lady got me a brand new one to use.
The ice machine was broken and I was told it had been broken a while.
Even though it wasn't raining outside, it rained inside my room -- right in the center of the room.
The front desk lady said told me to call Expedia and tell them I didn't stay and that she would verify it. I told her I couldn't lie about it, besides the room was a no refund style booking.
Then she said I would get a full room credit on my rewards program, which, by the way, I didn't get.
Unfortunately, the guests were the scariest parts -- yelling at each other like uncouth rabid humans with no good up-bringing. Such a shame.
The hotel itself was undergoing construction and is a beautiful building. If I knew the clientele would be different, I would probably enjoy staying there again.
The 2 hostesses were extremely kind and tried to keep the "loud", obnoxious upstairs attendees from scaring off the few other customers.
