“Mountainside Inn is a small and very basic family run guesthouse with only 5 rooms, located perfectly central within the little town of El Nido, but a bit off the busy Main Street. Rooms are tiny and just fit a 1,40 m bed and a small bathroom. Latter has cold water only, but given the climate it’s really all you need. Aircon is noisy, but I did not need it even though it was quite hot outside. During power shortages they have a generator which is noisy as well, but my room was to the other side……

“Le Bulul Garden est en plein centre d'El Nido. C'est à la fois une force, pour se déplacer à pied vers les restaurants et magasins et tours opérateurs, et aussi une faiblesse parce que cette ville est saturée par les tricycles, automobiles, motos qui circulent constamment. Malgré tout, c'est un vrai havre de paix. L'accueil et la disponibilité du personnel est très appréciable, la chambre, quoi qu'un peu petite est très confortable. La clim fonctionne bien.
