“Property is dilapidated ”

“I booked a Classic room and was presented with a dark, dirty room with tattered pillowcases, tired bedding, a distinctly broken bedside telephone, a lighting fixture hanging by its electrical cord above the bed, and a generally depressing ambiance. I complained and was upgraded to the Diamond Suite which was marginally better but came with a broken tv remote control and no bathroom towels. “Overall, a great place to stay in Lagos if you're on a budget. It is a nice, small hotel located off a quiet street on Victoria Island - this is important as several of the hotels in the area either have night clubs on their premises or nearby which makes a good night sleep fairly impossible. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating - they jumped right on every request (e.g. laundry service, wifi issue, etc.) and also stored my luggage when I was traveling for a week. “I had a two week stay at this property. The apartment is in immaculate condition with well maintained rooms and facilities. All relevant toiletries provided. The staff and gateman was friendly and will respond to your request. There was also security cameras around the place. My negative was that room cleaning is only done on guest request rather than offered on a daily basis. Also a few extra amenities that was on booking such as PS4 or Washing machine was not in the room. Nothing major,……

“Friendly and professional staff. Duplex apartment was nice with its own kitchenette. However there was no running hot water, it only comes in a bucket on request. Also there’s no choice of breakfast, you eat what they serve. I would have thought buffet breakfast would be in place for a place that pricey. ”
