This beautiful Lodge has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 9 guests very comfortably. From the living room you have 180 degree view of the surrounding 1000 acres of the Estate.
After walking the Estate why not come and sit by the wood burner and gently relax and watch the sheep and deer on the distant hills. The living room has 3 big comfy sofas and is the perfect spot to do a bit of bird watching ( Red Kites, and on those special occasions Hen Harriers)
A fully kitted out kitchen with everything you would need, as well as a Nespresso machined a French Press.
The master bedroom with its King size bed and 2 armchairs, just perfect for those early risers to sit and watch the sunrise is on the ground floor with its own ensuite and the views from this bedroom is of the garden and views leading to Loch Dola.
There are 2 more double bedrooms with King size beds on the top floor. And The Long room has 3 single beds perfect for teenagers & children.
There is also a second TV room upstairs, so there can be no arguments on who wants to watch what TV shows! There is also a window seat that over looks the back of the Estate and onto the hillside where the old settlements and Iron Age kilns are located. I love this windows seat its my favourite in place to sit and read and look out the window. Im sure you’ll agree with me once you settle yourself comfortably in.
A full bathroom with a gorgeous deep bath and shower is also located on this floor and as you soak in the tub, you can contemplate the views over to Loch Dola.
There is a pool room on the ground floor, which many a guest has spent a few hours as the night closes in to play a few rounds.
But don’t forget we also have a Swedish Wood Burning Hot Tub that can accommodate 6-7 people. That has views that are breathtaking. during the season the Northern Lights are best seen while soaking in the hot tub and watching the lights streak across the sky. But even when the Aurora is not on show the night sky is totally amazing to behold.
The boot room has a washing machine, a clothes dryer and clothes hanger and places to hang your wet coats and muddy boots.
The Lodge also has 2 extra cloakrooms with a toilet located on the ground floor.
So come and stay at The Lodge, relax, unwind, walk the track to Loch Dola or Loch Craggie, drink coffee or hot chocolate by the fire, watch the farmer tend his sheep and cattle and wish you could stay forever.
We at the Challenger Estate welcome you to the beauty of the natural surroundings in the Scottish Highlands….our home.
