ABOUT THE SPACE - BRAND NEW MINI SPLIT AC UNITS IN ALL BEDROOMS AND MAIN LIVING ROOM!!!!! Enjoy your time in the Mountains away from it all in our cozy 3 bed 3 bath chalet in the wonderful community of Wallenpaupack Lake Estates. We have access to both Lake Wallenpaupack and two other non motor boating lakes as well as two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, playgrounds, tennis courts, ball fields and so much more for you and your family to enjoy.
THE SPACE This mountain chalet is three full finished floors with plenty of room for your group of 8. Our master bedroom on the main floor has a wonderful king log bed for you to lounge in. The two other bedrooms are on the top floor along with the classic Chalet Loft overlooking the great room. One bedroom has a Queen Log bed and the other a Log bunk with full on bottom and twin on top plus a small childs cot.
The fully stocked kitchen is on the main level along with the main bathroom and great room with large flatscreen TV that opens out onto the large covered deck where you'll surly spend all your time just relaxing. The lower level has the laundry room, another full bathroom and the family room with comfy couches to watch movies on the large flat screen TV. We have all the comforts of home including cable tv, internet, and games/toys for those rainy days and now we have brand new Mini Split AC units in each of the 3 bedrooms and one in the main living room. Outside there is a nice firepit where memories can be made sharing campfire stories and roasting marshmallows. For use at the lake you can take down our two person kayak and 1 stand up paddle board to explore Deer Lake.
THE COMMUNITY Wallenpaupack Lake Estates includes 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool with a sauna, lakefront beaches on both Deer Lake and Beaver Lake, a game room for kids, snack bar, tennis, volleyball, skate park, marina,, and many seasonal activities geared toward families. Explore wleonline.org to discover for yourself. 10 amenity passes are available for use of these areas. Parking passes are required to be hung from your cars rear view mirror at all times. Any car not tagged will be fined so please make sure you pick yours up upon arrival. The Community requires a Registration Form to be completed prior to arrival that lists all guests, vehicles and boats/trailers.
GUEST ACCESS Access to the property is contactless by lock box. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received. Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows: one closet in kitchen, one under stairs in lower level and garage is locked with no access for guests.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS 75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over. This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.
WHO WE ARE This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt. Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.
PARKING is limited to 4 cars and (including boat trailer)
DAY GUESTS are limited to 8 people over the 8 overnight guests allowed. For a total of 16 people.
LAKE WALLENPAUPACK INFO - if you want to venture down to THE BIG LAKE, swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Water is great for swimming and water levels are always high enough for a boat to be launched if you have one to bring. Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season. Spring – Lake levels will be high. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be launched until docks come out and block the launch, but while docks are still in the water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking (for loading and unloading passengers. There is no boat slip availability for guests). Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.
HOUSE RULES No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns. Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

For Spring Renters: Yes you will need a fishing license. The outdoor pools aren't open till Memorial Day and then they're only open on the weekends until they go full time which is usually around the 3rd week of June. The lakes will be accessible but without lifeguards. So you can fish the lake from the shoreline. The Wallenpaupack lakefront is available and the playgrounds/ball fields/courts are always open. Pools/beaches close a few weeks after Labor Day, weather dependent. When the outdoor pools are closed the indoor pool schedule goes into effect.
