My family and I checked in on a Friday night. The air conditioner was not working in the room. I called the front desk to ask the lady who check if someone could come and check the air. We waited 20 minutes, no one ever came. I called back to the front desk and the lady said she was checking people in and could come as soon as she had a break. We waited 2 hours for someone to come. No one came, I asked if we could switch to another room. She stated there were no other rooms available. I asked for a refund she said she couldn’t give a refund. She called her manager who refused to speak to me on the phone and said he wouldn’t be able to give a refund until the next day. The lady at the front desk said a room would be available the next day and they could move us or have someone look at the air. We stayed only because there weren’t any other available hotels in Lake Charles due to a large Volleyball Tournament, which we were also in town for. We were never moved to another room, no one ever called or came to fix the air the next day. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! No one wants to travel and have to experience the things that we experience staying at Best Western. I finally got to speak to the manager 3 days after we checked out! He was rude, unapologetic, and offered a free upgrade on our next stay! I would NEVER stay at that hotel again! Save yourself the this trouble and hassle, choose a better hotel.
