Hotel did not have the room i reserved 11 days in advance. Claimed it was due to overbooking via 3rd party. Offered me a room that was not satisfactory compared to the room i reserved. Upon informing the front desk that the room they tried to switch me to was unacceptable, i was told its either that or no stay there and no refund. I contacted expedia to help mitigate the situation. The front desk gave a different story to them. This time i was unable to have the room due to an incident with a previous guest. Upon speeking with the cleaning staff, i learned that a baseball team from out of town booked all the rooms. Im not sure what to believe at this point. And due to them not having my reserved room available for me to stay in, i checked out a day early to get a different hotel with a more accommodating room. I was informed i would not be refunded the 2nd night of my stay as i "accepted their offer of a replacement room", however, there was no paperwork signed and i never approved the roo. Switch. The night shift front desk clerk was very rude and unwilling to work with me. She then proceeded to tell a different story to expedia about the rooms being unavailable, so im not sure who got lied to. I will never be staying with this hotel again. The poor management of reservations and blatent lies from the front desk are beyond unacceptable. They have left me no choice but to contact my bank to dispute charges for this trip. I would leave zero stars if it was an option.
