The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the place was quiet. The breakfast was ok but the coffee was good. Definitely recommend.

First, this is a pet friendly hotel. Expect to see dogs everywhere, probably sleeping in the chaise lounge next to your bed or on your bed. The place smells musty and of dirty dog. My husband chuckled as we were leaving he saw a dog urinating on the front doors. We were both disgusted by all of this and wore shoes at all times. Really, who wants ringworm or worse. Breakfast was “meh”! You could find fresh fruit if needed and yogurt though. Check in and check out was a hassle. Mind you, we arrived as weary travelers and two check ins were ahead of us so patience was required. However, there really was no warm welcome, thank you for choosing to stay with us, etc. Just, here is your room key. The same at check out, “Your all set”. Very disappointing. Lastly, I can’t believe the high ratings. That is shocking to me.

GROSS, GROSS, GROSS!! It was disgusting. The first room had puke on the carpet by the bed that stunk really bad. New room not much better but no vomit!!! Sheets are worn and stained. Carpets are disgusting. Smoking areas are right by ALL the doors so first you have to walk past all the smokers, but then the entire first floor smells like cigarettes!!! Pet area is really bad joke!!!! It was in the bushes, where on the other side of a fence the homeless people camp in their cars!!! Of course the other homeless people are guests at hotel .NO, JUST NO DO NOT STAY HERE! In fact skip Lake City all together!! Scarey nasty town that at a glance looks extremely dangerous!! Worst La Quinta stay ever!!! I doubt I'll ever stay at another after this.

There was broken furniture in the bathroom, the shower bottom was dirty, and the bathroom tile and wallpaper was worn and torn. Those were my only negatives. The room was nicely designed for my needs and the bed was very comfortable.

I prefer to make my reservations directly with the hotel, but these numbers are hard to reach, I find you reservation system to be difficult to use, hard to understand and cumbersome.

Very clean!!!! Great customer service! Definitely recommend if you're looking around here. You get what you pay for.... Breath of fresh air there weren't any bed bugs like a lot of the other hotels/motels in lake city!

The indoor pool water temperature was reasonably warm which I prefer. It is a rather small pool but since I had it to myself for about 1/2 hour worked well. Breakfast (we had scrambled eggs and sausages vs cereal,waffles etc.) was good; no danish or pastries of that type. Eating area was nice decor, not just tables and chairs cafeteria style. Hotel seems reasonably new so furniture, carpet etc not abused. Good to have carts for luggage to rooms & fast elevators. Easter decor in lobby a nice touch.
