“The property is in a serene area. We stayed at the Flamingo suite that is an amazing tent. With living room, huge balcony overlooking the flamingoes on the lake. The staff is exceptional. The food delicious and well served. A very relaxing experience indeed. ”

“Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. Booking online on their direct site was giving us a challenge until we booked through Expedia and from here we had no issues. There is not fitness room so that was sad and no iron. However, I will……

“Despite being told that my booking was guaranteed and that you withdrew monies from my account - on arrival I was told that Sunbird had no knowledge of the booking, were full and had no knowledge of Hotels.com. My husband and I were left without any accommodation in the vicinity because of the World Rally Championships. You failed to respond to emails and phone calls to date. And have not refunded my money”

“Nettes Hotel, tolle Location auf dem Berg des Parks mit guter Aussicht. Essen war nett. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Blick auf den Park. Etwas zu teuer, wenn man nur für eine Nacht bleibt und spät ankommt und früh abreißt um zur Safari zu gehen.”

“Excellent experience in rural Nakuru. This hotel has a retreat feel from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Wonderful and respectful staff. Excellent dinning options with good variety of local cuisine and fresh fruits + vegetables. Entire meal has a farm to table feel to it. Clean rooms though the shower hotel hot water regulation can be a bit finicky. Fantastic experience all round.”

“The Sopa Lodge gives an experience of a lifetime! I am well travelled but this is rare gem. The staff were the absolute kindest, most accommodating I’ve ever ran into and always knew our names. The grounds were breathtaking. The meals were so delicious. The room was absolutely adorable with an amazing view! I wished I had booked a week instead of 3 days. I can’t wait to bring more family and friends to experience this. ”
