“Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere.
Booking online on their direct site was giving us a challenge until we booked through Expedia and from here we had no issues.
There is not fitness room so that was sad and no iron.

“Personnels attentionnés, chaleureux et disponibles pour répondre aux questions. Cet endroit se situe à mi-chemin entre le lac Nakuru et Naivasha, donc excellent emplacement pour visiter ces 2 endroits. A environ 2h30 de Nairobi. “Excellent experience in rural Nakuru. This hotel has a retreat feel from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Wonderful and respectful staff. Excellent dinning options with good variety of local cuisine and fresh fruits + vegetables. Entire meal has a farm to table feel to it. Clean rooms though the shower hotel hot water regulation can be a bit finicky. Fantastic experience all round.”

“Super mooie plek. Super lief en vriendelijk personeel!
Game drive geboekt vanuit het hotel naar Nakuru National park. De gids had veel ervaring.
Ideaal hotel voor reizen met baby van 1,5 jaar.
Het eten was echt fantastisch. Zeer vriendelijke kok die van voetbal houd.
Goed hotel om van je telefoonverslaving af te komen.

“Our hearts sank when we first arrived off the dusty streets, but what a surprise lay in store for us!! Kivu really is a tranquil oasis, leaving the madness of Nakuru behind. It has a beautiful garden with an incredible 20 meter swimming pool. The staff were so friendly, i really recommend this place if you are looking for a fantastic budget hotel. We are a family of 4, the children slept in a separate room to us (14&16), it felt very safe

“Despite being told that my booking was guaranteed and that you withdrew monies from my account - on arrival I was told that Sunbird had no knowledge of the booking, were full and had no knowledge of Hotels.com. My husband and I were left without any accommodation in the vicinity because of the World Rally Championships. You failed to respond to emails and phone calls to date. And have not refunded my money”

“The Manager Liz was brilliant. Sammy a member of their staff was simply great.
The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The food variety is basic but cooked well and hygienic. We had a great time and they really looked after us. We can only say a big thank you and we look forward to staying with you again.”

“Great stay, staff made me feel exuberant, and at relaxing.. catering to all my needs, wants and desire. Politely prepare my meal and ask did I need anything else.
