Perfect house and location

If you are looking for a beautiful large house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and in walking distance to the lake, restaurants, and shops, this is it. We had a group of 10 friends and it was great to have enough beds that no one had to share. The house was so well stocked - plenty of towels, soap, sheets, blankets, and they even had coffee. We appreciated having long tables that we could all sit at together for a meal. Check-in and out was easy. The owners have clearly thought of everything that people would need for a lovely stay in Lake Geneva. I would highly recommend this house!

Family winter fun

The house was perfect for our family of 13, ages 5-66 to gather and enjoy a winter weekend in Lake Geneva. We all found the home to be beautiful, comfortable and a real treat.

College sorority reunion

The location was excellent. Close to the lake, lakefront path and the downtown area. The back porch and communal areas were all wonderful to hang out in and catch up with old friends. More than enough towels available to use. I wish there were more showers, but we somehow managed as we didn't have tight schedules. I can't imagine 19 people staying there as with 12, we were pretty tight. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot!

Perfect location… very short walk to the downtown area. The house is large, clean and very well stocked. Maureen was very responsive to our questions and the checkin/check out process couldn’t have been more simple!

Great Experience

Our family stayed at Moore Manor for my son’s wedding weekend. The house was amazing and is an easy walk to everything. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The home has all the amenities you could need. We enjoyed the lovely screened porch and gathered around the fire pit in the private back yard. Plenty of parking. Host Maureen was very responsive and gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lovely place for family reunion

The house is beautiful, very clean, and in an amazing location, 1 block from lake, 3-4 blocks from beach and town. The bedrooms held our 15 people very well with bedrooms for families and couples. Stocked kitchen, large dining table and great screened porch. Only downside is though many washrooms, only 2 with showers, surprising. Air conditioning, wifi all worked great. 2 weber grills (not gas). Games for kids. Host responded fast and very accommodating. Easy check in and out. Recommend!

Great Weekend Getaway!

Excellent home for a larger group - clean and spacious, with a beautiful, private backyard. Steps from the lake! We had a wonderful stay and Maureen our host was very responsive and easy to work with. Would absolutely stay here again!

Family Celebration in Lake Geneva

Our stay at Moore Manor was totally what we were hoping for. All of our objectives were met. We had a great time in Lake Geneva and enjoyed the house and all of its many amenities. We highly recommend staying here if planning a quality vacation in the area.

Perfect Family Weekend

Enchanting home! It has such wonderful historic charm with tasteful modern touches. You can get lost in the plentiful gathering spaces throughout the home. There were 5 adults and 4 teens (3 generations) staying and sleeping quarters were perfect for our families. We were visiting beautiful Lake Geneva for my niece’s wedding and Maureen’s house was just an easy walk to so many great shops and restaurants. We look forward to coming back again to enjoy the home and the area - great three season porch and back yard too. Maureen was a wonderful hostess - even leaving delicious cookies to greet us upon arrival. She also graciously worked with us to retrieve a forgotten item. If we could offer 6 stars, Maureen would have them. We have already recommended Maureen’s home to another family member who will be visiting soon.

This house was perfect for a group of 15 people. There was more than enough room and beds for everyone that came to stay. The location made it very easy to walk everywhere downtown. Maureen was an amazing host and made sure the house was spotless when we checked in, and made for the easiest check out I've ever experienced!

Beautiful home near everything

We had a wonderful weekend at this gem of a house. The house has an old world flair with all the modern conveniences. We had 8 adults and 4 preschoolers/toddlers and had plenty of room. I loved that there was a large kitchen table where we could all eat together. We were able to walk to the beach, downtown and the playground down the street, and also enjoyed spending a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Maureen was a terrific host, offering to get an extra highchair and portable crib for us, and quickly responding to questions both before and during our stay. She even let us set up a kiddie pool in the yard! The house was extremely clean and she provided plenty of beach towels. One thing to note: the kitchen is well-equipped, but small. We cooked all our own meals, and the space was a little tight. But otherwise the house was great - highly recommend!

Fabulous host, home, and location!

My family and I organized a last-minute trip to Lake Geneva and all felt so lucky we were able to stay at Maureen's home! It's spacious, beautiful, and walking distance to downtown Lake Geneva.
