“4 of us stayed here for a week for a fishing trip in early October. We found the cabin to in excellent condition and very clean with an adequate supply of linens and towels. Perch fishing was excellent. We caught many 14"+ each day we were there in the weed beds between the cabin and Goose Island. Walleye fishing was slow during our stay but the ones we caught were all 19"-22". The cabin is somewhat remote, it is about 20 minutes from the town and Cass Lake and 25 minutes from Walker but……

“Lake location is lovely, enhanced by kayak access. Convenient to the college, stores, etc. and our daughter's house on the same street. Communication with hosts was excellent and prompt; check-in was easy. A group of seniors, so ground floor bed/bath was great and downstairs bed/bath was very private. Made great use of four season patio for breakfast & lunch, well supplied with board games. Hope to stay here again next year. Thanks so much to our great hosts!”

“This cabin is so nice! The kitchen is well stocked so we were able to cook full meals. The dock was big enough to tie our 17” boat up to. There’s a boat launch a couple miles up the road which was very convenient. The kayaks are really nice and easy to launch from the beach. The beach is a little weedy but still enjoyable. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The entire place was just great! ”

“The property is older and the rental unit was on the smaller side but was efficiently laid out. Parking was plentiful and the managers were onsite and friendly. The neighborhood was quiet. The property is a good value.”
