Nice ADK rental

We were a group of 4 adults skiing Gore for 2 days. We basically only slept and ate breakfast here. Didn’t utilize the back porch, grill, or outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed the indoor propane fireplace very much. The description of the house says “charming” - read that as a tired, well settled, older home. However, this did not bother us at all. We appreciated the amenities however outdated the kitchen or bathroom might have been. The TV and wifi worked well. Water pressure was excellent. Plenty of hot water. Beds were comfy enough. Easy communication with the property manager. Super convenient location. We had a great time!

Great experience

Very nice place but the nicest thing of all was how responsive the owner was on a few little problems we had. I'm talking like a 5 minute response and if someone had to come to the house they came very quickly. Much appreciated!

Cozy and just as described

The property was just as described. We enjoyed the firepit at night and the back porch for morning coffee. The location is easy walk to the little downtown shops and eateries. We also enjoyed a great meal at Basil and Wicks, too!

Perfect Location for a Trip to Gore

Great spot for a ski trip to Gore mountain! The home was cozy and located in the perfect spot! The home is right around the corner from Tops and several restaurants, and just a 5 minute drive to Gore. The home had a nicely stocked kitchen which made cooking easy. Would definitely return!

Adorable little cottage!

We enjoyed our stay here- it was cute and comfy. We came to town for a rafting trip and had a fabulous time. The pictures you see are exactly what the cottage looks like. The host responded quickly to my questions. She provided coffee and firewood- and there were plenty of towels for all of us to shower after our day on the river. We enjoyed chatting by the fire at night and having coffee on the back deck in the mornings. We will totally stay here again if we come back to raft the Hudson.

The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the deck, grill and fire pit. The area around the fire pit would be greatly improved if it was leveled out. Location to town was very convenient.

The home was in a perfect location...super close to Gore Mountain where we were skiing. It was clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the deck and barbeque area. We would definitely stay here again to ski at Gore.

Good ski house next to Gore Mtn.

I stayed at this property with my husband and 2 children- ages 7 and 10. It was perfect for us. We wanted a place that was close to Gore Mtn- it’s just 5 mins away. It has a nice kitchen so we could cook breakfast and dinners. There are plenty of places for people to sleep- bunk bed room can sleep 4 and the loft has two small beds. The master has a Queen. The owners were responsive and helpful and the place was clean. You can fit 1 car in the driveway. The living room is smaller than in the pictures- we spent most nights playing games at the dining table. This is a good spot for skiers- the town is quiet- so not much to do apres ski, which worked fine for us. Thank you for a great place to stay!

We felt very comfortable here. It’s obvious the owners care about the property and their guests, with recent improvements to the kitchen and bath and many little touches and basic supplies. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and a couple cute shops on Main Street. The hot water baseboard heat was super comfortable too. They responded quickly and personably to questions.

Amazing get-away

This property was absolutely perfect for our family ski weekend! Minutes from the slopes, easy to access, clean, well-equipped, toasty warm despite the negative temperatures, and with wonderfully responsive and considerate owners and caretakers! Driveway was shoveled when we arrived despite an 18 inch dump that evening. We wish it hadn’t been so cold, as the outdoor patio space looked charming. Highly recommended, and would be a fantastic location for summer fun, as well!

Amazing Weekend

We stayed for 4 days/3 nights, all six of us had plenty of room and the owners were amazing with communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone who wanted a nice quiet stay.

We just loved it they had two tvs which was awesome and they had Netflix and they actually had cable which really surprised me working wifi the kitchen is just beautiful with all the amenities and the fire pit was awesome it was very clean and would be glad to come back here

Cozy cottage for skiing at Gore

Cozy cottage with very functional kitchen, great gas stove in the living room! Cant beat the proximity to Gore Mtn. - 5 minutes - and the mud room that made it easy to put on kids ski boots before leaving the house! Beds for all 8 of us was key! Loft got a little hot when the stove was on, and the house across the street was an eye sore / but, I’d stay there again because house and it’s owners were great! Helped me on the phone w/stove!

Perfect ski house

We had a nice long weekend in North Creek. The location to Gore and walking distance to town was great. We worked and the kids did school from the house - it was a perfect getaway for us.

Excellent base for Gore Mountain

Stayed there for three nights in February with family, including children. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the cottage was very cozy and warm. The kitchen is well equipped, clean and organized. The WiFi was mostly reliable and strong. The shower was good in terms of reliable hot water and pressure. The only downside is the immediate neighborhood - derelict house across the street, commercial buildings, etc. On the plus side, it’s about as close to Gore Mountain as you can get.

Very nice, comfortable cottage

This cottage is well decorated, clean, comfortable, has many amenities and supplies (eg in bathroom and kitchen). Fire pit outside is nice perk. The only suggestion I would have is screens for some of the windows. There are several A/C units. There is no washer/dryer so bring all the clothes you need or there is a laundromat a short distance away. It’s nice to be just a few blocks from Main St where there is a grocery store, cafes, shops. We had a very pleasant stay.
