“We rented this house for my daughters wedding at Machias Meadows. My wife and I as well as the bridal party stayed here. There was lots of room for everyone. We did use an air mattress or 2 but nothing was cramped. The first night we lost power for about 5 hours because of a fallen tree and after I sent Joe a message he was able to give us updates on timeframe to get it back on. We also lost air conditioning but I gave Joe a quick call and with in 2 hours it was back on. Overall we had a great……

“The house was perfect for a weekend girls trip! We were greeted with wine, snacks and beverages in the fridge upon arrival. Stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Beds were comfortable and quiet neighborhood. In back of the house is a pet friendly walking trail along the water - perfect spot to watch the sunset. Close to outlet mall, casino and restaurants. We drove up to the Tulip festival in Mt. Vernon on our final day. Perfect weekend!!!”

“It was a good stay. We definitely stay again. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that we needed. The vets were comfortable. It was a great value for the location.I think the only issue was the window shading. With it getting light at 4:30 in the morning it was a little bit tough to keep an infant asleep past 5:30 AM and not as private as I had hoped. Hopefully the addition of some blackout curtains or a couple of additional window panels would be the trick.”

“Stayed 2 nights. Property was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Tons of nostalgia in the living room, most comfortable, beautiful chairs ever! I read for hours in there with the stunning lake as a backdrop.Even though this property allows pets you'd never know, not a single animal hair in sight.Hot tub was relaxing and clean. Sauna was also top notch. Property owner worked with us on a couple of our eccentricities/requests including an hour early check in.Lots of very clear instructions both……

“The property was very clean and very beautiful. The home was very well decorated and had all the amenities we needed plus more! The three bedrooms were big enough for our entire family to have room and the views from the entire house were amazing. This property sits on Lake Martha which was very peaceful and relaxing. The kayaks and paddle boat were available for use as well. There is a nice covered area with a fire pit that sits close to the dock and a nice deck on the house you can sit……
