Cooking, grilling steaks, relaxing on the porch, enjoying coffee in the morning, building a fire in the fireplace in the evening, listening to the sound of a rushing stream below, really all we hoped for. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for such a quiet, secluded retreat. The proprietor was readily available with helpful advice. “We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!”

“House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids. ”

“The house is so modern and has everything you need. I came here with my husband, my parents and our dog for two nights and it was perfect. House was very clean with very clean bedding and towels which was fantastic. Huge back, front and side yard for entertainment of any kind. The one and only thing is that there isnt an AC unit in the rooms so I wish there was a fan but we left the window open overnight and it was perfect. Highly recommend for families or friends who are looking for a clean……
