“We came to the Northwoods of Minnesota to walk across the Mississippi River. We wanted to stay in a house that was quiet, yet close enough to make getting around easy. This house was big, inviting, clean and well-appointed (at least 25 towels in the bathroom, and they're brown so no one has to worry about makeup!!). There were 5 of us and a baby, and everyone had their own room with their own bed. The closets were full of big, fluffy, blankets in case someone got cold while they were……

“Extremely friendly and accommodating hosts and a beautiful property. The home was decorated very nice and it felt cozy. Lots of space for gathering and quiet space if you want to spend time alone. Fire pit patio was beautiful and everything was prepared and ready to go from prepared firewood to lots of blankets in the house and even boot dryers in the garage (which was a welcomed surprise since it was raining while we were riding the trails). We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!”

“Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. Special feeling to float in the lake at night after the sauna experience. Armada of toys and games kept the young ones engaged. Kayaks and paddle boards. Two fridges were ever so helpful when you have a party of 12 as we did. Communication with the host was lightning-fast and friendly. The island is a magnet for fish. Overall,……
