“Booked the property only a week before our visit. Super convenient access to the north entrance of Itasca State park.Some items of note: the bathroom door latch did not latch. The pillows kept falling down in the space under the headboard. The water pressure in the shower was only so-so at best. The temperature was very good. Lots of space in the unit - girlfriend suggested a small chest of drawers to unpack stuff into. We did have great interaction with Christine (owner) at the next door ice……

“Was a beautiful place. Very accommodating and had everything you needed and then some. Wished we could have stayed longer. Property was extremely clean, beach and dock made for nice sunset viewing. “We enjoy all of the features of this place and the privacy. Great view of lake, plenty of space and special touches to welcome guests. Had a nice bonfire one night (dry wood is provided). Plenty of room with more than one level for guest. Love the outdoor balcony too.”

“I don't normally write reviews, but thought it was warranted in this case. We had a family retreat for my mom's 80th birthday at the lodge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the checkin to the checkout John did a great job of communicating. The lodge has been recently updated which made it feel like we were the first ones to stay there. It rained the entire time we were there, but the cabin was so condusive to socializing and relaxing that we didn't even notice. Can't……

“The rental was very nice and clean, and the bonus room upstairs was enormous and a great place for playing board games. The place is a quick drive from town. Very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. ”

“The house is extremely comfortable, with good-sized bedrooms, comfortable seating, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. The house is located in a wooded area close to Itasca State Park and Park Rapids -- a wonderful location. The only suggestion our group has was that the hosts remove the plug-in fragrances throughout the house before guests arrive since some people have fragrance sensitivities (we unplugged them and that took care of the issue). “The peace and quite was needed. Had a fire one evening while we looked at every star in the sky. Spent our days in Itasca on the water and went for dinner in Park Rapids. Overall awesome location and far better then tent camping. ”

“Overall the trip was good. We had some minor issues with the thermostat, kept resetting to 60 degrees at night and getting really cold. Richelle was notified a couple times and was finally able to correct the problem. Property was nice. Nice location for fishing and snowmobiling. ”

“Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. Special feeling to float in the lake at night after the sauna experience. Armada of toys and games kept the young ones engaged. Kayaks and paddle boards.
