Caden, the front desk clerk, was incredibly gracious, as were the staff at the café—both provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. We had reserved a king suite with a pull-out couch intended to sleep two, but the pull-out was more like an extended twin. The couch was visibly dirty, and when we opened it, the mattress was lumpy and the frame couldn’t support any weight. We ended up folding it back in and covering it with sheets because we didn’t even feel comfortable sitting on it.
The carpet had a musty odor, and we didn’t want to walk on it barefoot. I reported the issues to Caden, who kindly offered to move us to another room. However, the second room was just as subpar.
I would not recommend a stay here, unless there was a remodel project.
