The Landing on Lake Nebagamon - Includes Pontoon!

The Landing on Lake Nebagamon is a three acre distinctive property with a private driveway a quarter-mile long to provide serenity. Guests enjoy unlimited use of a Bennington pontoon boat, fishing boat, swimming raft, canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, and much more. Guests in the winter enjoy access to a very extensive network of snowmobile trails in Douglas and Bayfield counties right out the back door!

This lake home has spectacular views and is an "open" concept. The house is 2,700 square feet with three huge bedrooms, all with king beds and all with two additional twin beds in the form of trundles. Additional den room features a pull out sofa for which we provide a supplementary thick mattress pad. The house has two full service kitchens, one on each level, perfect for multiple families! There is an additional 600 s.f. in the "barn," a fully finished separate building near the house. The barn features a 300 s.f. living space on the lower floor and a 300 s.f. sleeping space for 8 on the upper floor. The living space has a couch, reclining chair, big screen HDTV, wifi, foosball, and a wood stove. The sleeping space includes a queen bed and two bunk beds with full size on the bottom and twin on the top. A red cedar sauna for up to 8 in the boathouse completes the property.

Extremely private setting, close enough to town by vehicle or boat, but on the other side of the lake for privacy. HDTV and screaming fast WiFi included. There are NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE FEES when booking this property.

The lake is a gem. 914 acres total. Our lake frontage is 100 feet of firm sand, the water is extremely clean. Consistently, we have guests that comment that they normally don't like to walk and swim in lakes, but that this a completely different experience!

After 12 years in this business through two properties on Lake Nebagamon, here is what makes this property different from others on our lake:

1) Level lakeshore, without outdoor stairs.
2) Large sandy beach, which is rare on this lake.
3) Privacy, you will not see or hear the nearest road.
4) Multiple buildings for sleeping and enjoyment of amenities.
5) All of the included extra toys, especially in the summer.
6) High energy and effort from the owners to improve the property continuously and commitment to making your stay the best it can possibly be.

Our summer booking policy is to first provide an opportunity for current year guests to return the following year if they wish.

We had a great time staying at The Landing for a long snowmobiling weekend . Everything was just as described in the listing. Beautiful lake house
We stayed at the landing for our daughter's wedding in nearby Poplar. The lake house was perfect for our group with multiple families. The two kitchens and refrigerators made it easy to prepare food for our group and the wedding party. We enjoyed a dip in the chilly October lake and then warming in the sauna. Family Thanksgiving Vacay
We enjoyed our short family vacation here so much! The house was plenty large for the eleven of us. The season was too cold for lake activities and too early for snow activities but we knew that would be true and planned to spend our time just hanging out together. The sauna and polar plunges were great hits!! Our host kept in touch with us to be sure everything went well. There are lake toys for summer stays so we will try to go back there sometime soon. Great place! Highly recommend!!

We had a group of 13 adults here for 4 days and 3 nights and it was amazing! The views, the house, the amenities, it was all amazing! We had a great time and would definitely stay again! 1st class rental
This was our girls week that we do every year. This rental topped all the rentals we have been on in the past 20 years. Very very clean. Eric was wonderful to communicate with. Plenty of chairs for the fire and we had a wonderful ride on the pontoon. Will definitely keep this at the top of the list for another trip.

Perfect place for a family getaway
We had 6 adults, 4 children under 5, and a spattering of dogs and this was the perfect getaway for us. The kids were never bored with the beach, the hundreds of water toys, going out on the cozy pontoon, playing in the barn, relaxing watching tv, swaying in the hammocks, or simply having a meal together at the large dining room table. The house was very well stocked, and the owner answered every question quickly and kindly. Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing cabin
We had an amazing stay at this cabin. This cabin exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well supplied cabin. The lake and sandy beach area was perfect to jump in for a swim and our kids loved playing in the sand. The pontoon that was included just topped off our perfect vacation. Family gathering
We stayed for five nights during a time when four families were coming together from the west coast and southern WI for two family funerals. The accommodations were just wonderful allowing us to all be together to grieve and celebrate. The house is extremely spacious, comfortable and well stocked. I would only note that the second bathroom on the main level is just a half bath and does not have a shower as indicated. But highly recommend.

Loved our stay at this property. The home is spacious and the setting is beautiful. Kitchens were well equipped for cooking and amenities were great. They had a variety of games for the kids, the Sauna was great, fire pit is large enough for a big group and use of the boat was a nice bonus. Certainly a place we would consider going back to. The Landing Experience
We spent 5 days and 4 nights in August at The Landing. We truly enjoyed our stay and the property was a perfect fit for us. Check in was easy and we appreciated a call from the owner Erik on the second day to make sure everything was going seamlessly. He encouraged us to contact him if there were any issues (which there weren't). Having two kitchens was great to accommodate our two main families and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The larger kitchen, dining and family area upstairs was a great space for the whole group to gather. The barn worked well for our son, his wife and their kiddos, providing a quiet place for naps. The private sandy beach was perfect for swimming and relaxing. The toddlers in our group had fun playing in the glorious sand as well as the shallow water close to shore. Having the pontoon at our disposal was amazing and we indulged in some relaxing boat rides, including a trip to the Dairy Queen in the town of Lake Nebagamon. In the evenings we enjoyed our campfires around the cozy firepit. We also appreciated that The Landing is pet friendly so our two pups could enjoy the stay along with us. We hope that we will be able to return to The Landing for another stay next summer!
