“A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good……

“Was a pretty comfortable stay! Pretty noisey with the traffic going past, only downfall was on top of payment to stay there was a cost of $16 for 4 pieces of toast with some butter and jam.. a little steep imo And the shower curtain was rather smelly The owners were very friendly and polite though which was awesome. We did enjoy our stay ☺️ ”
