“Thais ( the Innkeeper) and her staff are second to none! My wife and I stayed at Sutton Home for my birthday and we were both blown away by the condition of the property and how willing the staff was to go out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible! The Chef, Sally made the most wonderful breakfast for us each morning and stuck around long enough to have a friendly conversation. All in all, we his place is a SOLID 10/10, especially if you like historical homes with incredible……

“We had a really great stay for Valentine’s Day weekend. Only complaint we have is we both had sore backs after 2 nights, the beds are not comfortable at all. We talked about going back a few times a year but the beds may be enough of a reason not to unfortunately. The staff and everything else were wonderful! ”

“The staff here saved us during a snowstorm when we were not able to get home. They were all so incredibly kind and accommodating, and made us feel so much better during a hectic time. “There was renovation going on we were unaware of ahead of time. Also the game room was closed. Room was brand new and clean & comfortable. There was ice all built up on the stairs by the entrance near our room. A shovel and salt and sand mix as if they know this happens but didn’t take the time to do anything about it. I used the mix to cover the thick layer of ice. Very surprised they wouldn’t chip or make an effort to remove it. It’s almost as if they are saying here do it yourself so I……

“The Inn was so beautifully decorated and the landscaping was incredible! The view out every window had a spectacular view of Squam Lake and the fall foliage. Breakfast was included and was very delicious. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back.”
