ABOUT THE SPACE Welcome to our lakefront home on Lake Wallenpaupack. Our unique layout lets you look out onto the lake from almost every area of the house. Our grand entrance allows you to see down into the living area as well as right out to the lake. Stay cool all summer with new Central AC on both levels.
THE SPACE There are three bedrooms on the entry level with a full bath that have two twins in two of the rooms and a king bed in the master which looks out over the lake with it's own balcony. Down the steps to the main level you enter the living room and a fully equipped kitchen and one more bedroom with a queen and bathroom with shower. The 2nd living room doubles as extra sleeping space and has a pull-out couch also overlooking the deck to the water below. The 2nd living room has a large flatscreen smart TV with streaming options and cable. The other living room has a smaller TV with cable and there is a Game Box for more entertainment in one of the upstairs twin bedrooms. The ultimate blockbuster feature of this property is the expansive decks that surround two sides of the house and overlook the lake and is canopied by trees. The propane BBQ grill also sits on the deck along with table and chairs for dining. Other seating is available on different parts of the deck and can be moved for the best view you can have. A small firepit is located on a small deck midway down to the lakefront. At the lakefront we have a large dock that can accommodate up to two boats and/or jet ski's. We have two stand up paddle boards for your enjoyment. as well.
GUEST ACCESS Access to the property is contactless by lock box. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received. Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows: basement isn't open for guests and small linen closet on top floor is not accessible.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS 75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over. This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.
WHO WE ARE This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt. Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.
Parking is available for 4 cars and 1 boat trailer. There are two spaces directly in front of the house and two spaces available across the street. The parking area is above the rooftop of the house. You will need to walk down a full set of steps to get to the front door.
Day Guests are limited to 5 additional people.
LAKE INFO Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Water is great for swimming and water levels are always high enough for a boat to be docked Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season. Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking. Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.
HOUSE RULES No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns. Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.
