“We had a wonderful stay in the Northwoods at the Cabernet Cabin! It's on a great spot on a quiet lake. The cabin is clean and cozy. The owners Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. Lots to do and see in the area - it's an easy drive into Hayward for shopping and dining. A great escape from city life!”

“The wife, I, and our retired service dog enjoyed our three days stay. There is no Air Conditioning, however with windows open, fresh air and the fans, it was pleasantly comfortable. ”

“Came up with a 4 year old and a 16 year old, plus wife and I. Cabin was the perfect size! There was enough privacy for the 16 year old in the loft, yet still kept him in the group. The cabin was very clean, tidy and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and that allowed us to stay focused on fun! Great location, with a beautiful view of the lake all day! Close to the Hayward Amusement Center for our 4 year old.The hosts were prompt and courteous during our stay when we needed anything.……

“This place was absolutely amazing!! It is very peaceful extremely clean and very open area. Everything you need from games to crockpots to towels. So beautiful to wake up and see the sunrise through the windows to just sitting out on the deck having coffee! The communication with the host Andy was absolutely wonderful. We had never rented at a VRBO before. He walked us through the check-in process and checkout process. It was an amazing stay and we would for surely stay there again.”

“Our group consisted of me, my husband and 2 of our adult kids. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere; to get a coffee in the morning, to the grocery store, to the Lumberjack show, to get ice cream and to the fishing museum. We sat around a fire on the back patio every night over looking the lake and talking. The kitchen is nice and big with lots of counterspace which made making meals easy. We would definitely stay here again!”
