We were lucky with the weather and spent most of the time outside in the fabulous pool, on loungers inthe garden listening to the birdsong or eating in the outside dining area. “The apartment is in a very quiet and safe area, about 10-15 minutes on foot from the Duomo and the Teatro Regio. There is an exceptional restaurant about 100 metres away, but we never managed to get in. The hosts, Natalya and Antonio are extremely kind and thoughtful, the apartment is very comfortable, the kitchen quite small but adequately equipped. Highly recommended ”

“In a nutshell, of the many houses we have stayed in in Italy La Palazzo is among the very best. The house itself is simply wonderful; inviting, cosy, roomy, very well equipped. As just one example: properly sharp knives, something you don't encounter very often but so important if you like to cook. The garden and pool area is beautiful and well maintained. Walking down there is much more of a joy than any nuisance. On the terrace above the pool is a big canopy with - again - a well equipped……

The mattress was firm, as were the pillows, which I prefer, so was very happy with that. There are a lot of horizontal surfaces to set things on, which was appreciated.
