I lived in a water villa with my wife. The services were terrible with this grade of hotel. The staff were bureaucratic and I did not feel that I was their customer.
For the transfer from hotel to airport, the speed boat departed at noon, 3pm, 6pm, i.e. every three hours. The staff told me that the frequency of the speed boat was in accordance with the international standard. I was assigned to take the speed boat at 6pm. If I wished to change the pre-assigned speed boat, I should go to the reception to sign an agreement and to take up all responsibilities.
I checked out before noon but just missed the speed boat at noon. A woman told me that I could take the speed boat at 3pm. I should return at 2pm to settle the final payment, if any, and at 230 pm to collect the luggage. The lobby had no air conditioning. Wifi should be paid. Only one small shop was opened. The speed boat departed at 310pm.
If we stored our luggage at the hotel’s counter, we should pay US$ 5 for each luggage. Finally, I stored my luggage at the airport, which also charged at the same rate but in a safer and orderly manner.
Other aspects of the hotel were generally good. But the poor customer services made our holiday and the hotel a disaster.
