“I read the varying reviews on this hotel and I was a little wary but tbf we had no issues with the place. Yes it’s dated but it sort of goes with the wackiness of it all. Good sleep, decent room with a view, great breakfast and all within a reasonable price. The view from upper rooms are just worthy of * themselves. Don’t be put off by bad reviews the hotel is fine and cheap.”

“Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”

“The staff, Lewis, Ruth and Katherine were beyond professional! They truly went out their way to give me and my fiance the best dining and accomodation experience! Also hats off the chefs. “I have stayed here at least 6 times and it truly is a jewel in the crown of SEQ. they are very reasonable in everything and honest about everything. A trusted safe and pleasant stay. 5 stars. The only downside is some of the facilities are a bit run down but I don’t mind as it makes it ultimately affordable. Well done to staff and all involved ”
