“We had two rooms booked (Jade and Lapis Lazuli). Very spacious, clean rooms. AC worked great, rooms were quiet and both faced the outside and didn't hear any outside noise. This hotel is right in the center of the city, down the street from the Mosque-Cathedral (which is stunning and a must see), and everything you could want is nearby. The hotel communicated via WhatsApp clearly and consistently for the night we were there and answered any questions we had. The rooftop was cute, we just had a……

“We were actually accommodated at a different property at last minute due to a problem in our room that could not be fixed in time. Communication about the change was effective and helpful. Alternative accommodation was excellent but not quite as well located as Casa San Mateo. ”

“Excellent central location to the town - could hgardly be closer! 20 min walk to train station. We were in a 2 floor duplex which had 2 extra bedrooms which would be brilliant for a family . Ground floor lots of space , good table to eat at with very efficient air con . Very clean and bright but fully shuttered. Kitchen could do with some more small equipment for those of us who like to cook and also some wine glasses! Walls could do with a coat of paint to freshen up . Will certainly……

The cleaning staff was very kind and helpful. The welcome was excellent. A car is preferable, although it seems to be well-served by public transportation.”
