Overall the property was nice but the surrounding area is a bit sketchy. Wouldn't feel comfortable walking at night. Room was nice and clean and kind of spacious - has a separate bedroom and kitchenette. Check-in process is a bit clunky - you check-in in one area then need to go to another desk to get your wristband. That's where they try and get you to go to a timeshare session. We had plans for golf all days we were there - plus we weren't interested - so we didn't go, but it was a bit of a hard sell to get you to go. I finally said I was tired from the drive into town and needed to go to our room. So just a heads up!
They have a shuttle that takes to you a hotel on the Strip but it stops going/pick-up at 9pm/9:30pm on weeknights. Kind of early for Vegas, so we were never able to take advantage of it.
Other than for breakfast, there is nothing really close to walk to for dining. But definitely try the Polaris Cafe that is a 5-minute walk for breakfast - they might have lunch there too, but we never tried lunch. For all other meals, we needed to drive, which we were expecting from the get go.
