Long day of travel, arrived at the hotel to be told I’d been overbooked. Hotel blamed Expedia, I honestly don’t know.
Told by the hotel I had to call Expedia to get a refund, even though they were the ones cancelling me, plus as I’d prepaid they wouldn’t just automatically refund me.
Finding the Expedia number to call was impossible. Had to do it via online robot until I got someone online.
The only bright spot, they did the refund quickly, but they also had to call the hotel to confirm I wasn’t lying, about what I’m not sure. Ya cause that’s fun after a long day in the car, not getting your room.
And as the refund can take up to 10 days, I’m
just hoping all is well.
