Poor Customer Relations
I don't know who is responsible, the host or the resort, but neither one addressed this issue. I received an email before my trip that if a guest was checking in earlier than me I should provide the contact info. I did that. When I arrived, everything was shifted into my guest's name as the primary and no one would shift it back to me. I booked it and paid for it. Yet the welcome gift was sent to my guest, the credit card on file was initially my guest's (which I was able to change) and other interactions were referring to my guest as the main party. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if the host was an individual and not a corporation - I just don't know.
