The staff that worked there was amazing and the only thing that saved my trip. The rooms I had were horrible, half the lights were burnt out, or just didn't work. The place was dirty, the patio doors leaked so it was cold all the time, and a COCKROACH ran right across my table when I was eating one night. When I complained on the phone to an operator, she was rude dismissive, acting like it was normal and nothing, tried to blame me, talking over me and wouldn't let me speak, she even told me to be quiet and stop talking. I had to stay in that room one more night, I couldn't sleep. I ended up changing rooms the next day. I didn't want to, but I had to. I then had to downsize, cause that's all they had left. They gave me early check in cause it was the same hotel, and the staff was great to get me in my room ASAP. They let me check in early, after they did that the operator who I was dealing with sends me an email and says, for my inconvenience with the cockroach they will waive early check in fees. That's all they did for compensation, when the fee was already waived by the front desk. Then in my new room, I went to take a shower, I turned it on to warm up, I walked away, came back a minute later to the bathroom flooded. The shower was busted, the seal all around the door and glass wall was done and the wall was loose, the rain head shower was leaking and spraying everywhere. So I couldn't fully use the shower the whole time I was there. Not a fun stay.
