“Very peaceful and relaxing. We were about a mile off the main road. It was very quiet with nature all around us. The cabin was so cute, clean and comfortable! We had everything we needed after a 9 hour trip! It was perfect for us! We went to Creation Museum, The Ark Encounter and to the Newport Aquarium! All informative places to visit! Thank you for providing us a nice place to stay and to be able to have this experience! ”

“This cabin has a mountain feel with the trees and surrounding area, but the view over the river is spectacular. Drinking coffee from the deck and watching barges float by with all the nature you could ask for. We were blessed to be greated by a baby fawn at the foot of the stairs. It never moved even though we were all around. The momma came and took it home later.Beds are very comfy but you will want to spend as much time as you can on the deck looking at the water. “The cabin is a great location to relax off the beaten path, but still close enough to downtown New Richmond and Riverbend if you want to venture out. We feel refreshed after a weekend getaway!”

“We had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Area was nice and secure. We would have liked more seating in the den area, but there were folding chairs and the dining chairs you could use. We also brought several games but no table except outside to play on. Just a note because we would have brought a folding table and chairs with us if we had known. It was just like the pictures, so it was my mistake. Lots to do in the area, could have stayed a lot……

“We were looking for a place in the woods with a cabin and fire pit to do some cooking. The kids loved all the area on the property to explore and the local scene was great. It was close to the river and high enough to see the areas across the property.”

“We were looking for a beautiful area with a very private setting and we found it!! Far exceeded our expectations. Very good hosts and beautiful land to hike around. The front porch of the cabin overlooks the Ohio River at a distance. Our only wish is we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this cabin!!”
